Machine called, using spoofed caller ID, playing a pre-recorded message about lowering my credit card rates, and the usual "Press 1 to speak to a live operator and lower your rates now." I get several of these calls a week, and I'm on the DNCL. I always press 1 and ask to be put on their do not call list. The usually acknowledge my request with a hangup. This time, the conversation went like this: Scammer: "Card Financial Services (or something similar, mumbled quickly), this is (mumbled her name quickly) speaking. Can I help you?" Me: "Are you going to hang up on me?" Scammer: "You betcha!" <click!> It's unfathomable. I really wonder why they bother to call, other than to harass and annoy people?

they call every 10 minutes or so and I am on the DNC list I want this company to STOP harrassing me.

They've called me a few times in the past two days. I don't know what it's for, they won't leave a message. I'm on the do-not-call list, too. I saw on another site that someone said they thought it was either Verizon or Wachovia.

He said that I had grant money available to do whatever I wanted to do with it. All I had to do was to give him my debit or credit card number and be charged only one dollar. He keeps calling and harrassing me.

Asked for me and I said I was not there.

Will not say anything just hangs up when u answer. Has called 6 times in the last 4 hours. Tried to call back and it just gives a message saying mailbox is full. This is some crap. Last call was at 10 pm. We have to get up at 5 am. Please tell me how 2 stop these calls.

they called again today at 2:43 and said nothing then i guess they hung up and it started beeping this is the 2nd time they have called
